Who are the Seattle Mountaineers?

The Mountaineers embody Christian values and philosophy for promoting community-based, fun and affordable basketball. We are dedicated to fair play, good sportsmanship, and integrity both on and off the court. We are committed to making a positive impact in the community as we seek partnerships with corporate, non-profit and community-based organizations to help our families, neighbors, and children in need.

How do the Seattle Mountaineers live their mission?

The Seattle Mountaineers host basketball leagues, tournaments, clinics and individual instruction for youth, teen and adults to improve individual skills and to promote community involvement for the overall health and well-being of participants. These activities are conducted year around at various recreation centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, schools, etc.  These activities are funded by private and public donations and sponsorship from companies for specific events and activities.

Objectives:

·         We are developing community awareness and unity by bringing positive educational and entertaining sporting events to the Seattle area.

·         We create and manage opportunities for aspiring athletes/entertainers while making the effort to develop each individual educationally, physically, mentally, and spiritually through the vehicle of Basketball.
